Default 1stRide 2015

Headin out for my first ride of the new year. A little cold today 36* but well worth it. Took it out for a 20 mile ride in the beautiful sunshine and the pub was closed so back to the barn. Long as it ain't rainin or snowin it's all good.....

Dude, you're gonna offend some of the rubes that can't appreciate a 5000 rpm shift. You know the types that shift into 4th at 35mph... I will critique by asking: at 30F where was you ff helmet?? Sheeeeesh!
Happy New year!
Tom

Only wore those on the sleds and when a piece of sand hits your face in those temps feels like a june bug at 60...n built evo's were never ment to put around on, isn't that why we do it?

Thumbs up

I did all my coldest rides with an open face helmet, way back, but I'm old enough to know better now - plus global warming has helped! Goodonya FB, too cold for me and too much road salt around here at present.

Nice sounding bike. I don't ride in 30* anymore because I have a lot of 50* days with no salt.

I used one of those neoprene masks with my 1/2 helmet last month and it worked really well with goggles. Actually warmer than my FF that lets air in through the chin. I rarely ride with a FF. Anyway, it's nice to see guys out riding at this time of year. I don't do it because of road salt, sand and possibility of ice.
