They're great when it gets cold out.

Default Bought a full face helmet, my first

What an awesome difference in cool weather. I have 8 to 11 helmets (not gonna go downstairs to count) and almost all are half helmets. I spent $75.00 as I only wanted something to keep me warmer and it works great. I went to my local Indy (one of a few) and he said he could have sold me his for 3 bills, originally $600.00. Being brain dead anyway I can't justify the cost difference. Between the helmet and Gerbings gear I am a happy and comfortable camper.

I bought a FF for this winter and I gotta say I love it. If my face can take the temps though I'm immediately back in my half though.

Just got in from a ride wearing my Shoei X-Eleven FF. It makes a huge difference!

I'll be in the half when it's a 100 degrees though...lol.

I dig my RF-1100, just haven't worn it enough to get the pads broken in well. I expect to this winter, even in so-cal.

Bought a Fulmer Modus 1 modular last winter. Winter only, but nice.

If you really want to keep warm, wear a silk balaclava under a full face.

Bought one of these at the bike show a couple of weeks ago. Very warm and works great with my half. Need to try it with the FF.

Back in 08 I hit a deer and then I hit the road. I was wearing a 3/4 and it looked like you'd taken an angle grinder to the side of it. Along with some skin, I also left a little bit of my chin on the road. The replacement helmet was a full face. It took me over a year to get to the point where I could wear a smaller helmet, but I still have the FF for winter and it works well.
