Default SE Air cleaner insert

Hey guys and gals. Been a while since I was on here. Got what should be a simple question. So for some reason I want to find an old sreamin eagle breather or insert for my carb. I guess since they are rare I like the idea. Anyway I found inserts online for around 30 bucks and even covers for around 60. For the inserts how do they go on. Just stick on?? Of all the things I have rebuilt I have never done one of these simple things before.

Happy New Year everyone.

Are ya talking about the backing plate ? If so they just bolt on the heads & screw onto the carb face piece of cake plug & play

Yep, stick on, you can peel the stock one off first and clean the glue off with brake clean.

Thanks a bunch. I figured they just stick on. Now I am finding whole covers that are black that I may get. Mine is a little weathered.
