I casually asked a painter fella that was in the shop today about Centuri.
He just looked at me and started giggling. May end up write a ck for the paint but I'm gonna tackle the prep at least.

Damn what happened to DuPont Centuri Like I'd try and shoot that after all this time bseg

for sand and fill primer I use DuPont URO its not cheap but it works well.
heres a tech manual

This is the part that surprised me, PPG What I would call a 3 stage paint after doing some reading. Would Omni be a 3 stage as well??

Thank You Sir WP

Do you still have all your equipment?
Primer will have plenty of time to dry. Does a Binks Model18 or Binks 2001 count anymore.

What I'm learning is gravity fed guns are used more nowadays it seems.
Thank You sir WP

and will set you back about 100.00 for a qt that's counting all three parts
and it will fill small dents with one coat.

I used base\clear doing mine in my shop. I used the self etching primer. I bought a HVLP gun from Harbor Freight. I prepped everything and hung them up. Hardest part was keeping them from moving around. I did have to do some buffing due to runs but well worth it in the end.

I haven't used my big gun in years, you waist to much paint, pick up a small touch up gravity gun on eBay for twenty buck, it will pay for itself. Easy to use, easy to clean, better results.
