I have to pull my exhaust to get to the side cover.
I guess it depends on what exhaust he has.

Default Recently replace mine...

I had a frayed cable housing at the right lower frame rail from Chaffing and needed to replace mine because of a fluid leak coming up the housing. I used the stainless braided housing cable with the plastic coated cable. It actually pulls a little better and never a needs to lubed.... Should last longer than me now.....think it was around $60....
