I'm still curious how you got a reverse/negative image of a bike in front of a sign that is not a reverse/ negative image..... Bike is backwards, sign is not.
Do we have some custom Photo Shopping Going on here?
Yes, I am a photoshopper. 1st i flopped the entire image, then re-flopped the words on the sign, and all the badges, logos etc that were readable on the bike.
Here is a shot with the bike in proper form...wait...who is that handsome dude on the sign....
My buddy blew half a bottle of beer thru his nose when he saw this.
A tiny chip of metal, not aluminum, was found in the cam chest. Pulled lifter blocks, everything looks good. Talked to Alan Sputhe who said to check cam cover bolt holes, (highest one) as it may have punctured an oil channel. Checked it and it was fine. Nothing else found to create the problem. If it is a slow bleed in the crank case, so be it. I will install the S&S HFHP oil pump. I never was getting any lifter/rocker/valve noise, so it must have been getting some oil. Now it will get a little more. I will report back in a few days how this is working out. (pump is on order)
Ok, Installed an S&S HVHP oil pump, and now the pressure is good while I am riding. @70 it was about 35~40lbs. At slower speeds it was low. Oil temp was 189f. I am sure the bleeding is still going on internally, but I am just going to go with it for now. There is no noticeable lifter noise at any speed.
Nothing else to report.
I don't think anyone has mentioned the Pump Reed Breather. I was speaking with S&S awhile back and they told me a S&S reed breather "could" cause low oil pressure.

I believe that valve was for the Twin Cam. It is round and flat, the one on the evo is long, like a cylinder.
