Scoot is back on the lift... preliminary break-in complete, oil/filter change, cleaned tappet oil screen. Now to shorten excess wire length, work towards completing build, decide what needs to be changed.

Are you running no heat shields? That does not too bad like that. Dragula are a pretty exhaust, fekkin loud to boot.

Will install the heat shields now that the initial (12 full heating/cooling cycles) break-in is complete. I think the ceramic coating looks good pretty good myself, but the "black" heat shields are the look I wanted. Exhaust isn't too bad with the 2.55" baffle, very easy on the ears at cruise.

Installed standard length (24-1/4") FXST fork tubes and rubber gaiters. Needed to increase corner clearance... dragging Jiffy Stand in left hand corners. Liked the low, short-bike look, but longer forks provide more clearance in corners.

Your bike is looking good. The front end looks nice with the slight front lift and the fender fits like a glove.


I'm glad you chose that fender. Was the shipping quick?
