A close friend of ours had a new hip fitted about three weeks ago - under local anesthetic! He even took a cell-phone photo of some of the team working on him during the operation FFS! So there is hope - he was home and walking after a few days. Chin up old chap - that bike of yours will wait a while for you I'm sure.
Actually, as much as I enjoy going down the road on that thing, I think I'm done.

The OL had two hips done in less than a year, went from crippling pain to none. Hip replacement is more successful than any other joint replacement.

Even though you will be over on the Rushmore section, you have way too much Evo and 5 speed transmission knowledge to leave this section....you`re not getting off that easy.
