One of the things I really love about my Evo is how smoothly the engine talks to me. It lets you know where it wants to be.
In fact, that brings to mind the only thing I don't like about it: All the extra doodads it has. Things like a tachometer, turn signals, neutral indicator, fuel gauge. Don't really need all that stuff.
Maybe she can handle it, but I have no complaints with 5th at 50+ mph......plenty of power for passing etc. I was just taken back a bit to hear you guys run those kinds of speeds in 4th.
If there's anything better than an EVO it's an EVO with an S&S in it. Mine's just the little 96, but has a bit more oomph than a stock 103. Needs a new rear pulley, and I plan to put a 65 tooth on it to replace the 68, should cruise 100 with that. Not that I've ever done that...
