Yes just don't over do it, you don't need it cherry red, and concentrate on the bolt, with a wet rag on the rest.

Have you tried an impact?

Found your problem.

Also, green locktite is easy to take apart, as is blue. There is probably red locktite on there, which is a biatch to get loose. Temps of 325F are needed to break it.

Another question. This Corning moly 44 that I need to get for the brake pins, is there anything else suitable or is this the only brand that will work? Want to ask before I start the auto parts store hopping since it usually takes 4-5 before I find what I need. Thanks

This is what I have now

For the DoT 5:
$65/gallon
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Iris-DOT-5-S...b12b6b&vxp=mtr

45/half gallon
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dot-5-Silico...3b7cb5&vxp=mtr

The M1 Abrams used DoT 5 brake fluid, thus the mil spec stuff is cheap. I use it in all my automotive hydraulic clutch systems as I rebuild them.

About your brake pedal being in the way. I don't think they were manufactured to be able to put your foot under it. I would think that in an emergency it would take to long to get on the brake an BAM.....just a thought.......

Your foot rides under the brake pedal on a dresser. Most of us have not been killed.

That CRC brake caliper grease should be fine for your caliper pins. I actually have a dab of HD wheel bearing grease on mine at the moment. I haven't been killed yet either.

Broke them free and busted my finger pretty good too. Long wrench between the tabs where the clevis male mount of the footpeg goes.

The trick was they are reverse threads for some reason. I was tightening them the whole time.
