Mystery soved!! You don't have a HD quick release bracket Wombat. Not sure if it's a HD bolt on bracket or not, but it's absolutely not the quick release.
Darn, was hoping your windscreen would fit THC. Oh well, I'll just have to settle for what I have, which is okay as there is nothing wrong with it other than being too high. The tint would have been nice though, maybe next purchase at some point if they can even be gotten.

I think Cleartastic has a tint option, but why don't you cut yours off as you had good luck cutting your headlight portion?
By the way, could you have raised up your shield over the headlight so you didn't actually have to cut it? Seems you have some adjustment there, which might come in handy if you end up cutting the top too short.
Given your success I'm thinking I may cut my tall shield down too. I have no adjustment on height with my quick release setup. BTW I know my bike is a TC but my 1995 EVO RK had the same setup so I thought I was giving you good advice.
Not a problem, with so many different models it's hard to keep up Actually, you guys got me looking and I ordered the Clearview with the re-curve in a Light Grey tint 19.5" high. It looks nice and for $153, I didn't think it was a bad buy at all.
Damn it, just realised - I'm probably going to have to cut the headlight area out on that one too
PS: You guys are costing me money ... now I'm back to peanut butter sandwiches for a week

Did you get the 10% HD forum discount? If not call them back they'll give it to you. And I'm assuming you told them the model bracket you had, in my case they actually had me go out and measure my holes which is why I was pretty in tune with this whole thing.
I predict you'll be happy with the product, it's a really nice shield.
Oh, and these forums cost me a lot of money too! I'm now out of money so just helping other people spend theirs which makes me happy. lol
Didn't tell them what I had, they had a few options, one of them being "Stock" so that's what I checked. Was very easy to order - too easy as a matters of fact
