The wife and I took off to MD on the 94 FLHTC last weekend. While the main goal of the trip was to go to her nephew's first communion, the secondary plan was to see if our bodies and/or Harley could handle a 550 mile trek.
Well it turned out our bodies handled it just fine but we brought the bike back in a uhaul. We were about 50 miles from our home town when i started hearing the exhaust getting louder. You could feel the exhaust coming out of the right side of the motor and it looks like it is most likely a head gasket.
This weekend, with the help of a friend and all the great knowledge that you all have posted here, I plan to start tearing down the old girl. (the bike, not the wife)
