Let us know what happens after you change the VOES.

After listening to the video, it sounds as if the accelerator pump is not working or is out of adjustment. Also is that an S&S tear drop and are you running S&S carb?

Yes s&s tear drop air filter, stock CV carb. How do you adjust the acc. pump on the stock carb? I see it squirt a healthy shot of gas everytime you blip the throttle, directly into the carb.

Not sure on the cv i run S&S carbs. but it definitely sounds as if it not producing enough fuel off of idle.

So I took the carb off of my buddies EVO, that runs fine, put it on mine and it made no difference. So that rules out all fuel issues. I already changed the module, new plugs, tried his ign wires, mine are also new, tried his coil, no difference, the only thing i havent tried is the sensor plate in the nose cone. I feel like that has to be it. It doesnt appear to be melted (also doesnt look mint either). Before I buy a new OEM one, is there a fair priced aftermarket that would really benefit me?

IF its not that, I really don't know.....

I had a similar problem. Rear plug was dirty, front was lean. I changed the manifold seals. Still ran funny, both cylinders went lean, and timing seemed off. Behaved exactly like yours and it is an FXSTC, almost the same bike. I sprayed around with carb cleaner again and no idle change. Then I sprayed the VOES and it went nuts. Took out the VOES, did a vacuum test on it and it tested fine. Checked the Ohms, all OK. Tested with the lines on and found no leaks. Put it all back together but this time I put clamps on the vacuum hoses. Thing runs like a champ now

If the line from your carb to the VOES is leaking it will throw off your timing and cause a lean condition. For me this was especially a problem off idle and at low speeds.

Make sure the timing cup is installed correct and tight.

It might not hurt to pull the intake manifold off and check for a leak.

I just had the same problem on my '94 FXSTC.
It was the HT leads. I changed them for Screamin Eagle fat leads. It cured the problem then it came back, it turned out that the increased diameter of the leads was stopping the connector sitting properly in the coil and it was working loose.
Changed them for smaller diameter Magnecore leads and now the bike runs fine.
