Too bad we can't get a prescription and use the Evo as a tax write off for medical reasons.
There's a good idea right there.
Do hope you get better Omaha!
Thanks. Its frustrating. We train two days a week. I missed last night, but I'm going to see how things feel going into Saturday.
This injury has me a bit gun-shy. I'm "of a certain age" now, and this is the first time I've had an injury like this. It messes with your head. I find myself thinking for the first time that "my brain can write checks that my body can't cash".
The injury came about during a knee strike drill. I was pushing off my right leg in order to do a knee strike with my left when ZIP! You could hear the muscle tear. Injuries are part of this, but my injuries previously were from being struck. Had a guy kick me in the kidney a while back and I pissed blood for two days. That I can live with. But this one? It's discouraging to think I can't trust my leg anymore.
Alas. More Evo time for me!
Edit: Just noticed that I replied last night in a gin-induced haze. Heh. Two for the price of one!
Yea, I think that most of us evo owners are at the age of think twice.... Glad to hear it's healing.... Keep the therapy going...
Yup...of that age too, last week had a 20 year old kid jump the bar and try to grab a bottle of Captain Morgan(well he did get it and almost got out the door before I caught him) anyway he was a fast little sh##. Realized that my wife is right and my 54 year old body aint up to fighting any more, tackled him and my shoulder still hurts, might have to get a taser! FWIW the epsom salts and hot tub soak work for me on achy muscles and joints, followed by a nice ride in the sun on the old EVO.
