I wish riding would fix me.

I have been in the hospital for the last few days with pancreatitis.

No food or drink. They aren't even allowing me to drink water. They are also not even letting me have ice chips.

The IV is hurting my kidneys and causing my pee to be copper colored.

Standard treatment for these is lots of ice, as much ibuprofen as you need, as much stretching as you can endure, and massage to minimize scar tissue build up.

Here's the cool part: I've discovered that spending time on the FXR is absolutely perfect for it. I can position my leg up against the air cleaner and the magic Harley vibrations are just what the doctor ordered. After a nice ride, I am pain free for an hour and can even walk without a limp for a while.

I've mentioned before that I've never been much on riding for its own sake. I'm generally only out when I have somewhere to go. But this injury has changed that. I put 200 miles under me today over three different rides just to massage my leg.

Is there anything Evos can't do?

Funny you should bring this up because I had ankle surgery last month and once the cast was off I found riding my TC Lowrider did the same thing....it did it so well that I scrapped all my Physio appointments.

Not just an Evo thing, I guess any Harley will do it....

I got discharged Friday afternoon in excruciating lower back pain they said was caused by the hospital bed. I am stayin at my parents house for a few days. I woke up Saturday morning with my back feeling much better. Tonight it is back to being terrible again.

At age 35 I've been at the think twice stage for a couple years now. Bum leg, trashed right elbow, herniated disc, sciatica, carpel tunnel, all from work related injuries. I should find something easier to do.

Get better soon Prot.
