Well you are right about the noise being normal. I've been searching everywhere for info and at the end of this video you can hear when he pulls the clutch in it sounds just like mine. Now I need to figure out what the dang vibration is coming from on my bike.

It's possible the clutch pack is getting loose in the basket, they'll do that they're aluminum. Is the vibration only when cruising and on what gear and rpm. (Low rpm load in 5th around 2200 rpm?)

On my BDL the belt has to much flection in it under low load rpm's that shakes the entire bike, no adjusting it out, sucks. Not sure if they make a tensioner or not but I can actually see the belt flection going up and down and can feel out through the entire bike. That's why I ordered a Baker SBD belt drive. Just waiting for it to come in. Supposed to be the best. We'll see.... I also ran a Rivera primo primary belt that did the same thing that's why I went to a BDL no difference. So waiting on Baker.. I had conversation with Mark at Baker he swears his is the quietest and the best......

Thanks alot for the help.
To be more specific heres the whole deal. I rode the bike to work yesterday and it ran great, smooth and quiet with no vibration on the freeway or around town. After work took wife for ride and about 10 miles into the ride bike started to vibrate, mostly could feel it in handlebars but every were else a little too. Stopped and had dinner then road home and bike was fine for first couple miles with no vibration then it started again and kept up till we got home. Shifts great and motor sounds great. Id think something loose like mount or something but it only does it when its warmed up. It also started vibrating like this last week before the Compu Fire ignition took a crap on me but I put in a new Ultima Programable ignition and coil and its smoother and fires off much better than when I got the bike, made a noticable differance in how it runs.

This is one of those things your going to have to research the **** out of taking g notes as to if its always at a certain speed , temp , etc. When you get the shake try popping it between gears and killing the engine to see if it goes away. Have the front and rear wheel bearings been serviced? Tire pressure low or high or cupped? Motor mounts loose or worn? When primary went in was alignment Checked?

First thing I did after I bought the bike last month is had brand new front and rear tires put on. They serviced/checked all bearings and said all was good. Im not sure what's been done to the primary but I'll eventally convert it back to a chain I think.

Went home at lunch to check it out again and saw nothing wrong with the belt or anything loose so I put the cover back on and rode it back to work. I usually don't ride it hard but did this time. It definitely vibrates more than it did a couple days ago but runs great and no noises at all. It also vibrated soon as I started it and never really got worse the whole ride. Think I need to check every bolt on the bike tonight when I get home!

Sorry to bump this but I have more problems.

This weekend I did the Reno Street Vibration run with the wife. Bike ran good the first day and a half but was still vibrating and its from the engine for sure, it will do it just revving the engine with the clutch in now. Second day after a long hard ride to Virginia City the bike stating acting like it was running on one cylinder. I let it sit for a half hour or so and it fired up and ran fine again, until the motor got hot and it did it again. Air temp was only in the high 70's low 80's and my oil temp was only 180 deg but the nose cone was scortching hot. Took the cone cover off and the ignition module was too hot to touch also. Im wondering if I have something wrong with my cam/bearings or something else in the nose cone aria thats been causing the vibration and getting it hot? It would explain why right after the vibration started a week or so ago my Compu Fire ignition took a crap on me? Any help on what to look for or what to do from here would be much appritiated.
