Fair warning if you pump the neck bearings full of grease then you will spend the next 6 months cleaning that grease off your gas tanks, rocker boxes, and down tubes after every ride.

My '94 has one, although it was painted over at the factory. I replaced it with a working one.

FWIW, I pump the steering head full every 5,000 miles, and don't get any significant dripping. Maybe wipe the lower "gap" between the fork and steering stem every couple of weeks. I use the "red" grease from Tractor Supply. I also have 110,000 miles on my current set of head bearings, and they work just fine. Coincidence? I think not.

I have 140,000 miles on my current set of steering head bearings.

I have packed them with grease once, about 10 years ago, and they work fine also.
