Apparently you are in for an *** whipping by one of these internet tough guys if you run out of gas.

A few days ago I came across an interesting product called touring tank or something like that. I'll post a link when I find it.

Hopefully you won't suffer an *** whipping before then.

Thanks for the replies. I was just thinking there mite be a startup procedure after running the fuel injection dry.

Maybe you'll get lucky and smoke the pump so you'll have an excuse to do a carb conversion.

To the best of my knowledge the pump starts working as soon as you turn on the ignition.

If you run it dry just fill with gas turn on the ignition then hit the start button.

As mentioned above it is best not to run out of gas.
Hell it is best not to go below a 1/4 tank of gas.

I hope this was all hypothetical..
