Primary leak?

Check this out. Got the new one in. Either someone sold me a faulty clip or they parts guy sold me the wrong one last year. Look how much smaller. I guess I consider myself lucky it wasn't worse damage.

Popped it in last night. The fit is very tight it doesn't budge. Would love to know how I got a bad clip to begin with. Is there a similarly sized one they could have pulled from the wrong parts bin?

Maybe one for a Sportster??
The possibility always exists that it was a manufactures defect.

I'm going to look that up. They handed it to me without a label or bag. The one I got yesterday came in a blue bag labeled.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you now have the right part and (when you put it back together) a perfectly functioning bike and you'd rather research something that no longer matters on the internet????


I'd be out riding if I were you!!!!!!!

Valid point! However it hasn't rained in weeks here and here's he forecast now that I'm back together! I'm hoping it will change and clear up tomorrow. It's raining now
