If some one upgraded to the 12067B then they changed the pulley spacer as well to the 94 and later 33344-94S. It's a good idea to change that while you're in there, they get grooved.

well...since I know how to do it pretty quickly now, im gonna try the new mainshaft seal with a new collar and see if that was the problem....

im gonna put a 34t drive pulley on while im at it...not sure whats on there now but after reading a bunch of posts it must be a lower gearing than stock, cause im reving out pretty good just going 65......

question is, what pulley do I need to get? one for a 89 tourglide, or a 94-up? I still have the keyed shaft, not spines........

you need to remove the pulley you have as you have parts that never came with the bike on it, the stock pulley is 32 teeth but the early bikes had a cog instead of splines on the hi gear spud and no such 34 tooth is available for the early cog type -- so it take it apart and see what you have or wait till winter
