Seen that before, cool video, however she is not a woman nor is that an evo. Compression kick back would throw that kid on the garage roof LOL.
But thanks Tom
Thanks Rob85WG, will keep that in mind, and I appreciate it.

Well I put the new points in and the bike was running like a dream, started first kick and all. After about 90kms it kept losing power until it stopped completely, sat for a bit then it started again. This happened twice, then the third time it would not start again and had no spark. Took it home on the trailer, after checking the points hadn't moved, but haven't had a good look at it yet.
86FXWG - Bike is back up and running again, it was the little felt pad that caused my problems after replacing the points, but has now been rectified. Also had several seals and gaskets replaced to fix some oil leaks, and other minor works that needed doing badly. The bike is running beautifully now, thought it was before, but even better and a lot smoother with the new front fork tubes. As good as the day I got it 29 years ago.
Nothing wrong with a points-triggered ignition.
I'd bet long money that 95% of the dealer "techs" couldn't set points and time a bike correctly........as well as some of the newer "internet insta-shops."........

I love it! ... I think I still have a "Tach and Dwell" meter in the cabinet in the garage. When I was a kid I worked at Mallory Ignition in Detroit ( before they moved to Carson City Nevada ) at got to run/play with the Sun Machine doing "set-ups" ... It was a lot different back then :>)
