Well.. now you guys have me thinking.. I just assumed it was the coil because it's not firing. pulled the plugs out and cranked it that over and no spark. Then I pulled the wires off and left the spark plugs in, cranked it over and checked that.. no fire either way.
How are the wires heading to the coil?
A friend of mine just had the same problem and it was the wires going to the coil.

The wires are good, checked that. Last time I rode it, everything was fine. No hiccup no nothing. Put it back in the garage and couple weeks later went to fire it up... notta!
I'll double check them again when I get off work this afternoon..

Just for fun did you check them with a volt meter as well as checking the conditions of the connectors?
Coils are pretty simple devices, I'd look at the ignition, doesn't yours have a led that lights up when it's giving signal to the coil? You should see the ignition signal at the coil low side anyway to test the ignition.
Well.. got off and went to the garage.. cranked it over, and the red light or the green light on the timing didn't light up.. so I have something going on other than the coil just quit firing.
I'll check the olms and volts with a meter and report back..
Have you replaced your cam bearing? On my buddy's Evo he kept breaking and replacing ignitions before he realized his cam bearing was failing, the cam was pushing back against the ignition.
I had a strange ignition issue a while back, started running erratic, then no start, no lights on the dynatek module, I scraped and wiped with brakeclean the mounting areas for the module, which is also the ground for the module, it didn't look to be dirty or have a bad connection, but solved the problem.
If that doesn't correct the problem, I also had an issue with a DTT external ignition module where there was too much voltage drop to the coil while cranking, under 9 volts volts or so, the ignition wouldn't fire.
A quick test for low or no voltage to the coil, - hook a jumper wire from the battery (+) to the middle post on the coil, should have two white wires to that terminal, see if it fires.
Also check that the white wire from the coil to the module is intact.
When I built the motor put the new cam bearing in... Question though.. when cranking the engine over, does those lights actually light up on the Dynatek modual just cranking, or only when the engine is running? I can't remember now.
