I've never seen one of that brand specifically but I'm just following general repair guidelines. It gets power from a wire I'm sure. Take it off and look for something amiss. Post pics of you like and maybe we can help. No led means either no power or no signal from either the optical or Hall effect sensor.
Is it a nose cone module or does it just plug into the harness?
It's the nose cone module.... here it is and the coil. The coil has the hot wire and the other terminals for each cylinder
I talked to Scott, he said sounds like the module went south... I didn't ask him but, it there a way to check the module or does it just go out like that?
Most of the time those modules just go out in my experience. Voltage fluctuations will kill them pretty quickly. Have you noticed your lights getting bright then dim unusually?
Also, if I was you I'd mark the location of the unit (so you can time it properly again) and take it off, looked for frayed wires, make sure the power wire (normally red) has power when the ignition is on an the kill switch is on....if not, then search for a break in your wire. That's probably more common than the module dying so worth looking into...
That looks like the coil that came with my Ultima iggy. I put a dynatec dc 6 in it's place. I think I still have the Ultima coil on the shelf in my barn. If you want it I'll send it to you, may be you can switch it out and see if it cures your problem.
Dyna has some good installation instructions and wiring diagrams. Looks like the white wire is your power wire. Check and see if you have 12v on that white wire when the key and run switch is on and report back.
If not, check that wire fire a break, it should be coming from the coil 12v+ as you can see.

I appreciate the offer man!! But the red LED signal light on the module isn't coming on when the key is on, which leads me to believe its dead for some reason. But I just checked things over with my volt meter... I have 12-13 volts going to the coil and 12-13 volts coming out of the coil, with key on. key off, nothing, which is how its suppose to be... I believe the module went bad. I ever swapped the fuses around thinking maybe had a bad ignition fuse, but it's good.
I did talk to Dynatek and they told me to check things, which I did, and to send it back because more than likely, the module went bad. Weird how it could go bad like it did though... going to check ALL the wiring tomorrow when I get off work, just to triple check it all.

Have 12 volts to coil and out of coil... I wired it myself back when I built the bike, just haven't messed with it in a while because nothing was wrong with it..lol. Just had to dig out the ole " Harley Bible" and read to refresh my memory.. but thanks for the link Joe!
I think it died, they do and often just like that. But, use your test light and probe the white wire down at the ignition to make sure a wire didn't chafe between the coil and the ignition.

If you do replace the iggy, go for the Ultima 53-644, they can be had very reasonably on ebay. It's an exact clone of the Dyna. I put one in an Ultra based on recommendations here on the forums. if you decide you want the coil, let me know.
