Default My first break down, sorta.

Well, backed Camzilla out of the garage, went to hit that button to fire the beast up... it cranked over more than it's usual split second before firing up.. nothing! The coil went out and gave no warning.. so ,I had to push it back up my driveway back into the garage. Its got the Dyana200I ignition by the way.. looks like its time for a new coil.

If that's the same coil used in the Ultima ignition, people have had a lot of trouble with that.

Good question! basically, with this ignition, the way I understand it.. it's its a dual fire system, but only uses one coil. The coil is like a two coil system built into one coil.. I think.

Single fire coils usually drop one cylinder at a time. Sure it's the coil?

Dual fire coils usually only drop one cylinder at a time as well.
The difference is that you can check to see if it is the coil has failed by switching the plug wires on the coil and see if the failure moves with it.

Well.. now you guys have me thinking.. I just assumed it was the coil because it's not firing. pulled the plugs out and cranked it that over and no spark. Then I pulled the wires off and left the spark plugs in, cranked it over and checked that.. no fire either way.
