Seems awful spendy, but I guess it would come out less than buying a busted up evo and rebuilding it. Wish the 111 had more stroke than bore... not a fan of square V-twins, but I guess I see the appeal for some people.
Just so you know the long block comes without a carb and intake or an ignition.
Cost for those are around $700 if you go with a new S&S carb and a good igniton.
You can usually talk a local indy into selling you a complete V111 motor for $5k.

I have been eyeing one of these recently. I takes with s&s about them. The things I keyed in on we're that you get improved parts like beefed up cases, flywheel, better valve springs capable of higher lift, cam 508 lift, lifters, adjustables, cam bearing, and a better oil pump. So it's like your starting with a moderately tuned 80 but new. The only downside and one of the things I asked was if it had better flowing heads. They said they weren't worked over
