Default Evo build

I'm in the process of replacing cam and lifters in my 91 Ultra. The bike had a Woods W8, Jims Big Axle lifters, Baisley Pro Street heads, Wiseco 10:1 pistons, Daytona single fire ignition and coil, and 6 speed in it when I inherited it last spring. That motor had about 25,000 miles on it when I got it.
After I rode it another 5,000, the inner lifter (rear intake) lost the trunnion bearings on the roller. Loud tapping noise warned me and I tore it down before too much damage. Still good oil pressure, so I'm just changing out the cam and lifters. The Woods W8 was just too hot for longevity, I think.
I have two questions, since this is my first Evo:
I found a rubber o-ring inside the oil scavenging gear in the cam case. It's worn in two like it was caught somewhere, but otherwise looks fine. It's actually square in cross section. Any ideas where it came from?
Will using the triple valve spring heads hurt the new Andrews cam? Or the new SE lifters?
I'm using the EV46, for several reasons:
I got it cheap, brand new.
I rode the bike solo, and hard.
I got it cheap, and brand new. Did I mention that?

Thanks in advance, this is a great forum.

The Moco issued a service bulletin stating to "inspect and/or replace" the lifters @ 25,000. That is for OEM application.
We have just torn an Evo down with an S&S 561, that was run with the lifter wheel void of the needle bearings. Had 60,000 on the clock. Made a mess.

Now that I'm learning to speak "Evo", I'll sure keep a closer eye on things....
I've got a TC that has 65,000 on this engine with 129,000 on the frame. It runs just fine on Andrews 37Gs and fueling lifters. Is this one I need to watch or service like the Evo?

Default INA Cam Bearing

When I pulled the cam bearing out, it was an INA, but full bearings just like the Torrington I put back in. Kind of scared me after the fact, but I read that the bearing problem started in '92 with a cheaper INA.
At least I know it's good now.
More to follow as I get the bike running and on the dyno.
