Nothing really (copper is an awesome conductor) if you don't use any electronics or a radio on your bike because of the RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) can cause problems with ecm's and actual radio noise.
On the other hand that's why they created carbon fiber wound core which is the most common today. Resists heat well and can handle higher voltages including coil outputs up to 40kv.
Stainless steel wound wire (mag core) is now the top leader for delivering the spark to the plug but is also the most expensive.

That's true, but when my wife looked at the cost difference spread out over twenty years (1.90 a year difference) for really cool looking badass fat wires, not to mention the genital benefits, it seemed like a no brainer to her to get the ones that would be the most fun.
