All good ideas. I had it a part earlier in the year and cleaned the heck out of it and know that the rubber diaphragm on top goes bad, but it all looked fine.

Good idea about marking the screw, never thought it would back out on it's own, seems like when I adjust it, there is plenty of tension on it.
The bike only has about 65k on it. I had a super e on an ultra and really liked it.
It has an ev 27 already, I might just do a new ignition and upgrade the carb while I'm at it.
I like that ignition. I put the ultima in my ultra, I'm sure you guys remember my efi to carb conversion threads, but this time I think I will go with the 200p module and not get into the nose cone, providing that the pick up looks good. if the pick up looks bad, i'll probably go with the ultima again, now that I know what I am doing!!
