Default Throttle Cable Help Needed

Building custom with 99 EVO and stock CV carburetor, using old police handle bars with internal throttle cable. Do not want to change this set up so trying to figure out how to hook solid cable wire to CV Carb. or change out solid throttle cable wire with new braided flex cable , stock for CV. Would have to use a inline cable adjuster to take up the slack. May be nuts but I am sure someone has does this sometime?

would need clamp pivot and bracket for cable sheath like older carbs keihen, bendix etc. or adapter like Jim Mosher makes for Indian CV conversion.

Default Found solution? The missing link

Found a guy in Wisconsin that makes a cable splice for small motors (go-karts) that just might be the ticket. Small bracket with bolt and nuts on either end that are made into cable adjusters, they have holes through the bolts for the cables , then has a cable clamp in the middle. So solid strand wire (original) can be spliced with multi strand cable(new). The adjustment on either end would be able to take up slack when needed. Looks like I can also incorporate a spring to assist with shut down of carb. Seeing I am only using one cable on carb instead of two. I believe it is small enough to mount on frame between tanks.
can be seen and bought at fastermotors.net
