in my shop we dont use james gaskets anymore if the customer shows up with them, then we tell him / her they own a leak - you brought the gaskets and we did not make them

Below is a picture of a James head gasket with about 20000 miles on it. The only thing left sealing it was the fire ring. The base gasket was leaking, too. No more James gaskets for me.
