You'd be amazed at the variety of noises an old Evo Softail can generate. And that's just the "harmless" ones.

Yea that will make a mount work. In trying to duplicate the noise that was when it was the worst.

It's a bit hard to diagnosis a noise when it's making one.

We got a good laugh about this and he reminded of when he was chasing an engine miss on his truck. I had walked up and plugged a vacuum line back on the he had missed.

Good catch goes out to your buddy. Rained here all day yesterday so i figured a great day to check all those nuts and bolts. 6 hours worth but the best thing is i won't be scratching my head later, but will be rubbing my belly from downing that six pack....
