If you passed the tests in the stickey, the stator is fine.
Ok, one more question (and thanks so much for the sticky and help!):
When I check the stator receptacle on the primary cover, the top pin reads less than 2 ohms but the bottom pin bounces back and forth between 15-17 ohms. The top will steady out but the bottom bounces around and never steadies. Is that normal? Admittedly, I'm not the best with electrical. I thought I understood the basics until I start trying to troubleshoot electrical problems. Again, thanks a ton for the help.
You check the two pins to each other, and that test is rather inconclusive, really, besides a low reading or an open reading. If either pin shows any continuity to the case (ground), the stator is shot.
