Unsolvable no spark problem
Correct 89flhtcu, if he removed the white power wire from the stop switch to the coil and ran a jumper, and no bad grounds, that should indicate the problem is not with the bike wiring, but with one of the three ignition components or wiring between them.
Hope you get it figured out Skiprrrdog

Okay, I'm just going to throw it out there now to save some time... I am an idiot. Earlier the wife hears the Harley running, comes out in the garage and after I tell her what it was, shes like, are you going to tell the forum guys? I said, I would rather not, but I think I have to. I got so focused on it likely being something that got disturbed when I moved the tank, that I completely spaced on the fact that I also took the gauges off to replace those rubber rings, which were pretty crispy. I was reminded of that when I simply took the tach/pink wire off of the coil, and the sucker started right up! I took the tach off, and wouldn't you know it, of the three bullet connectors in there, on an orange wire I managed to slide the little male/female connectors *alongside* of each other, instead of male into female. Fixed that, hooked tach wire up to coil, problem solved.
So you guys were right all along, which I never doubted, but I somehow did a brain freeze on the tach thing.
Thanks for all your patience and excellent advice.
