I like Amsoil also but it is harder to find, I can find the Mobile 1at Walmart or Autozone. Helps when you are on a rode trip and need add someoil. I perfer not to carry oil in my saddle bags.

The off idle hesitation cause may be as simple as an incorrectly adjusted accelerator pump. Remove the air cleaner cover. Rapidly twist on the throttle and you should see fuel squirt out the accelerator pump nozzle directly behind the main fuel discharge tube in the carb bore. You increase the accl. pump discharge setting by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise. This screw is located on the upper right (as you look at the carb). Also a too low float setting will cause poor off idle response. The Super E is a pretty simple, but excellent carb. Getting a copy of the manual from S&S will make it all an easy job for you.
