Bad news Sat, a riding partner was hit broad side by a car and although he lived, he lost a leg, broke the other leg, broken arm and internal damage. For those forum members that rode with him, he was the owner of the Panhead and riding a Evo RK during the accident.
Craig's riding style was never in a hurry and just enjoyed being on a bike, what sucks is his non impatient riding style was no match for a cager doing something stupid. Although his life is currently more important than riding, being on a bike in the future was taken from him so maybe a message is involved of taking the longer way home when riding and enjoy the opportunity we have with our bikes, it may be your last.

There was a guy here in Austin that was confined to a wheelchair.
He had a trailer that he could roll his wheelchair onto mounted to the right side of a bike (not sure what kind of bike) and the controls shifted over to where he could reach them easily.
Just saying that your friends riding days don't have to be over unless he wants them to be over.
My friend went down the beginning of this season. He's the most conservative rider i know. The first doctor told him he would not be able to ride or walk right again. I stood close by him because I knew that was some heavy news. He just started riding again. Never lose hope.
Ya, Craig is one the most stubborn and unique person I have meet, if anyone can overcome a tragic event it will be him. He is a mechanic for a living with one of his best friends is a Indy that builds some neat bikes, I should just plan on buying the guy a beer when he calls be up to ride.
