shaking bad on hard accelerating

Hi I purchased a wrecked 96 hugger that had a 1200 conversion done to it. It wasn't that bad clutch lever, forward controls, and tank. My problem is when I get on it hard it shakes bad, If I run it at same rpms and speed not accelerating I don't feel the shake. I have looked at the mototr mounts I don't see anything wrong but that doesn't me so ...any suggestions.

I would think even a sporty would have an upper motor mount under the tank. Id look there.

I had a wobble shake and it turned out to be a weak factory shock on one side which surprised the heck out of me as they weren't that old at the time. Tires showing any signs of abnormal wear? Check swing arm bushings? Rear wheel alignment? Wheel bearings? Fork oil level? Motor mounts first, make sure the engine is correctly aligned with frame/Rear wheel.

Might be a good place to start anyway?

If it was wrecked I'd check the alignment and look for broken mount bolts. Double check the front engine mount, loosen the main bolt and run the bike, tighten it back down and see if that changes anything.

Shakes or vibrates? It's going to vibrate, especially in a solid mounted 1200 CC bike. Check the frame too.
