3000 original miles. Just got done replacing the top end gaskets and pushrods o rings. Single fire ignition. Cv carb swap. Plus found a original decal for the tank dent when it's time to get fixed
thanks but like all bikes that aren't a touring bike....it just doesn't fit me well....mids have my knees in my chest! lol....and the buckhorns really don't inspire aggressive riding, and Im a pro stock exhaust but u cant even hear this bike running! lol...gives a Honda a run for its money!
but its too original to start swapping parts out. I actually found a good write up on the butterfly carb.... im might rework it and try it again so I can use the oem aircleaner
Congrats 800, very nice ride. Hard to imagine 3000 miles on a 28 y/o, wow. Never even got broke in. Somebody obviously stored it pretty well. I'm sure once you get it to fit you right, you'll enjoy it for many years to come.
