Called The shop where I had my stoker crank installed and spoke with Andrew about what I thought might be an issue with the crank I had installed. After talking to him he suggested I bring it down and have a look. Turned out I was just a little paranoid and there were no issues.
Next he says to me you know it's kinda slow today If you want to do a couple of pulls on the dyno bring it in. I told him that I've not been able to get it Dyno tuned yet because i thought there was a problem with the crank and again he said don't worry your fine, nothing to worry about. So on it went.
As you know even though I increased the cubic inch I did not pump up the compression this time and got rid of the top end W8 cam and went with the W6H. Keeping the same Hillside heads with a reduction in Static comp from 11.1:1 to 9.6:1
Did a couple of pulls and saw that with a .031/.072 it was a little lean when transitioning from intermediate to the main jet. So to Andrews advice I put in a 76 main and that brought my AFR right down to 13.2-13.8 through the entire pull. I was very happy with the results and mind you I'm no longer looking for HP but Torque,
Yea Baby.......... That's what I got and my *** confirms it.... 108 tq and 88 hp. Not bad for a de-tuned Evo 96"er maybe this one will last a little longer.... One thing is for sure, I cannot say that I'll never tear it down again to get more out of it but for now I'm very satisfied.....
In case anyone was wondering about the 2 pulls on one sheet. The red one is a 4th gear pull and the blue is a 5th gear pull. I wanted to see the difference in what a gear makes...

Thanks. I am getting the itch to get mine dyno' d out of curiosity but certainly don't want to waste money just to get a piece of paper. Maybe I might get lucky and go to an event or something with free dyno runs or what some call dyno racing.
Your peak torque is the exact same as my S&S 107", although I have a wider flatter curve and also get over 100HP. Yours must be quite something to ride!
Do most people do a 4th gear pull? I've always wondered this.
Impressive numbers for sure, I'm sure it wasn't cheap. I'm sure it was well worth it!
Keep the shiny side up!
Tom
Actually it wasn't that pricey. Finding the used crank saved me $800. With the case assembly and the S&S Side winder and trueing and balancing the crank I have $2200. in it.

I'm sure he'll do it right. When I last Spoke to Andrew on the subject of Evo's He said he really doesn't get into them much any more. But will on occasion. I'll say this also, He's very respectable and can tune with the best...... Let me know how your buddy makes out...
How did you make out with the fire damage?
