I bought my Pingel back in 2008. Never once regretted it. Works like a charm every time.

Also it's nice having a petcock with the same outlet size as the inlet of the Mikuni carb (both are 5/16). It was a pain trying to stretch a stock size 1/4 hose over the 5/16 inlet nipple on the Mikuni.

Strange, my new crap and Oem was 5/16" and my mikuni has a 3/8" ..... Been using a 3/8" hose and really cranking down the clamp at the petcock. So the sifton I ordered has a 3/8" nipple so all will be good there.....

You're absolutely sure about that? I know my '94 Softail used 1/4 hose for the stock petcock to carb and crossover line. I'm now using 5/16 hose for the fuel line and both sides match up perfectly. Remember, you measure the shank diameter of the nipple, not the "barb" diameter.

I put a mic on the shank and it measures 0.025" over quarter, 0.275" ..... The barb measure is 0.325" .......nipple at carb I will not measure as the hose was left on and is a pita to pull off the 3/8" hose.

However, when my new sifton comes in Friday, I will mic it to see what the 3/8" nipple actually mics out to...

Got the new petcock and it mics. .36" shank and .43" barb and the 3/8" hose fits tight just like the carb end. All installed, added gas, seems okay, valve clicks into each position, that I do like, snow coming tomorrow...... I'll try the new blower out....
