Yeah I know just sucks! These never come up on eBay. Now I have to order from dealer for $380 just for the console, and another $50 for the plastic insert. Oh well, part of the game.

Well, I'm pretty sure you already know this, but you have think of a max price that you really wouldn't spend over that. Then if somebody outbids you, you're OK with that.
Easier said then done, but If you say at the end of an auction "well I would have upped my price to the winning bid", then you didn't really come to terms with your max bid.
What really pisses me off is when I forget about the end of the auction until it's too late.
