I don't always run the oil out of the motor...but when I got the bike the oil looked way more dirty/nasty than it is when I change mine so I did it...it just trickles out, not bad. I had a TC for a while an never did this, it was a E glide so I would have had to buy the "scavenger" device to do it. I always change the oil/filter before riding season starts an run it out of the motor since it's been sitting in the bike all winter, my mid season change I don't do it.
