Good mods and they all make quite a difference. Since you have the chance, try to check your wiring for cracks, rubbed spots, and loose connections.

This all sounds good. I have the tail light wiring harness on the bench right now fixing some cracks and wear marks on the insulation. I'm not doing any upgrades this time around, just maintenance.

Kerosene on an old rag once you get everything apart. Works like a charm

My favorite trick is pledge. On the cases and the paint. Looks new again.
