Exhausted....
I'll check and see if it's there. The engine section is #3 in my book, and I couldn't find it. Neither in the chassis section #2. It's probably hidden in plain sight somewhere in the FSM.
Ended up torquing them to 80 in/lbs, everything looks even and good. No drips from the bastard bolt. Yet. Can't wait until I fire it up, and get a chance to re-tune the carb.

Not yet. Still a bit more work to do on it. Soon....
It'll be a few days, I'm working midnight shift tonight, and a funky shift work rotation the next seven days.
I will post one up!

Thanks! Not as loud as I had feared. Got a strange 'whistle' or 'squeak' sound at time, so I've got to take a look see.
New problem: Front calipers are sticking again.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Thanks!
Thanks!
I only took the bike for a putt around the subdivision, never got above 3rd gear. I'm dying to get it out on the open road and see what it sounds like. Temps dropped down into the 40's again, so this old man is waiting for 10-15 more degrees.
Tomorrow, I'll get down and see why the damn front calipers are sticking. Had them rebuilt 2-3 years ago. The bike has been sitting on my lift since last October, so who knows what Harley demon came for a visit.
