You want a seat? I'll give you a seat. Check out this road sofa on my old '85 Softail. I honestly don't know what the hell I was thinking at the time.

My '85 FXRS has the 2-piece seat, rider and passenger are separate items. After 15 yrs and 120,000 mi. I replaced the factory seat with a Mustang "Rider bucket" I think they called it. After another 19yrs or so and another 175,000 mi. ( give or take..) through ALL kinds of weather it was needing help. I went to the good folks at Mustang to replace that seat with another one just like it. They were really nice, but I got the same reaction...they told me"We get a LOT of calls for that seat, but it's discontinued". I asked'em...well then why the hell don't you make some to...you know...SELL to all the people calling for one..????
They looked at me like I had three heads.
I finally sent the old Mustang off to Mean City Cycles for a re-build. They were great people to deal with. The whole thing shipping from Florida, and return quickly went seamlessly.
What I got back is fine. Just....fine. Not awesome, WOW, etc. The original Mustang was a better option, but when it's not available...you take second best.

I have the correct 1985 Low Rider seat.
These are very rare.
The one on the right, with HD logo is original Low Rider.
The one on the left is original Super Glide.
Both fit 85/86 Evo 4speed.
PM if interested.

I also have a brand new condition Mustang Fastback for 85/86 FX models.
You can see it in the background on my 85 FXWG.

You have to have a certain number of posts, and been a member for certain number of days, before you can PM.

Here is a NOS Mustang Fastback seat. As previously mentioned by the Mustang rep, it is long obsolete.
I bought it for my 85 FXWG, but don't use it.
Perfect, brand new condition.
PM offers.
I'm happy to keep it, I'm original owner of my FXWG.

Hi pjb! Do you still have the Low Rider seat? What kind of a price you would be asking for it?
