Then go with the EV-13 or equivalent and don't look back.

I have a EV27 cam, 10 to 1 wisco pistons and the bike runs great from about 2300 rpms and up. I think it is perfect for freeway riding, 70 mph and up.

So the search goes on. Someone here mentioned an EV-46. Maybe that's what I had. Thanks again for the subjective responses.
Isn't the EV-46 designed for the upper end of the RPM range? According to Andrews Products:
Bolt-in performance cam; state of the art ramp design.
Longer duration than EV3 but higher static comp. pressure; wide torque band; 2600 to 6000+ RPM.

That doesn't seem to fit your requirements.

I could be wrong but as I remember, The lower #s are for more bottom end and the larger #s for more top end power and higher compression.
Without higher compression and especially heavy baggers Id go with lower like the ev3 or ev13.

I usually go the speed limit though and when I do speed, it's 5 mph over at the most.

Two up on a heavy bike, the EV13 is the better choice due to more torque at Low rpm which makes for a better launch. It also is the better choice in mountains and steep inclines, so I am told. I am a flat lander and at sea level.

I have a parts list around here somewhere I can post later if you like. I never had it on a dyno, but it just feels great. I haven't ridden since Christmas due to declining health but I am getting better.
Sorry to hear of your health issues, and hope you'll be back on the road soon.

I had a 3010 in my last WG and it was quick but a different bike and different build. The 3010 was a little nosier.
How do you compare the two?

I would bet a new rear tire that the 3010 had a lot better low end than the 27......

I believe that's probably so. 3010 has a higher lift, .5 better lo and mid range

I first put the 27 in as is with the gear that came with it along with SE adjustable push rods. I felt it was noisy so I pulled the 27 out and installed my stock gear on it and put it back in. Still noisey! then i read about andrews having steep ramps and all. So not liking the ticking i put the 3010 in. Guess what? still noisey . turns out the crapy SE adjustables was hitting the tubes... I then put a set of PR taper lites. all is good and quiet now. as far as the difference between the two runing the 27 comes on cam around 3K. the VT starts to come on around 2.5 or so. they both pulled great on the top.. Had i got the correct pushrods in the first place I would have left the 27 in.
