Default Ignition Wiring Question

I am rebuilding a 1984 Harley FXRT. I completely disassembled the bike and am now putting it back together. I installed a new ignition system and now need to route the ignition wires over to the coil.

It is not obvious to me what the best way to do it is. Is it to run wires under the gas tank between the cylinders? Or along the right side of the frame and then up and over the transmission? Or some other way that is not obvious to me.

I would appreciate any suggestions you are willing to offer up. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you mean out of the cam cover I'd run under in between tranny and motor come up by inner primary up to coil, that is if the coil is in the same place as 96 narrow glide, where is the coil, how we're they originally.

Default Ignition Wiring Question

The coil is on the left side centered between the cylinders. See the attached picture. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

I think I would see if you could go under, up through the gap between the motor and tranny to the backbone come in from the backside under tank to coil. If you can zip tie it to the fame or whatever on the way up try to hide it if possible. Good luck you putting on a hi 4N ignition?

I did the same job. Ran them from the module under the bike to the right side panel (thats where I put the connector) and then through where the battery sits and then hugging the top frame and then dropping down to the coils.
