Truly a nice piece of history you have there. I am of the belief that these bikes will slowy increase in value and the closer to stock, the greater the value. As has been pointed out you also have a lot od accessory parts the are totally unattenable in todays market. (There are however a few companies that make aftermarket items that are very close to the original accessories.)
I removed the carb, went through it thoroughly and she's running nice now.
Still can't find that dang heel shifter though. lol.
I know flhchaz offered you his extra heel shifter back in post #12, but if for any reason you don't get it from him, I have the heel shifter I took off my '96 Heritage Classic. Assuming it will fit, you can have it if you want it.
My Heritage is the first bike I've owned that had a heel shifter on it. I guess I'm too old of a dog to learn a new trick. I'm afraid I'll stomp down too hard with my heel and break something. It just isn't comfortable to me at all.
