For a stock motor it's ok. 35 * full advance at 2200-2600 rpm really won't cause any issues and will increase gas milage.
If you have a built motor with high compression that full advance at 2200-2600 rpm's could cause a lot of detonation which would require you to back off your base timing. By doing that you just reduced your performance and isn't that what you built the motor for.
I do not use the voes on performance motors.
It will also run hotter at lower rpm's.... But the choice is your's... jmo.....
