Malo,
If you have never been inside of her i would suspect a lifter. The MoCo recommended checking/changing at 25k. The stock lifters are prone to failure. If you installed the rocker lockers I assume you inspected the rocker bushings for play and retorqued the rocker arms properly.
Technically you should start your own thread... Anyways you never stated mileage? Like Evoken said, if you have more than 25k on the clock start with a set of S&S lifters and if you have the heads off right now I would also go to S&S adjustable pushrods and set the preload to .140" ... You do have a Factory Service Manual right?
I have around 25000 miles after last rebuild. rocker arm clearances are within spec. Yes I have a manual. That's where I get all my spec from. I have checked the lifters and they all seem to be good. Sorry about not starting a new thread I'm new to using forums. I'm going to be changing to adjustable pushrods and new lifters. But the sound isn't heard around the lifters or pushrods. It's on the left side of the motor.
Thank you for the advice and the fast replies
Ok little more history, how many miles were on the motor when you first rebuilt it and how many miles from them till now.
Left side is a different ball game... Have you checked your compensator and primary chain....?
I would start a new thread make a few more posts (one you get over like 5 to 8 posts then I believe you can post pictures and videos) and then post a video to help us help you...
Ok little more history, how many miles were on the motor when you first rebuilt it and how many miles from them till now. Total miles on this motor and did you ever replace the valve springs? Could be getting weak..

I had 145000 miles when I rebuilt the motor. 25000 miles since rebuild. I pulled the compensator out last night and it looks good, primary chain was adjusted properly. Yes I replaced the valves, springs, guides, and seals. this is why I'm stumped. I've checked everything I can think of. And so far everything that others have told me to.
Well best though I can say is make a few more post to get to the minimum limit of posting pics and videos... The videos you need to upload to YouTube the copy the erl and paste it into a post them we should be able to pinpoint it a little better...
By the way a 145,000 miles is really good before first rebuild you must take really good care of your machine..
I noticed as you panned to the front cylinder the tick was more pronounced as you crossed the sparkplug, but can't say what it is. Sorry can't be more help.
Sounds like my motor has sounded for the last 116,000 miles.
Thanks for all the feed back on this subject. I thought my 1995 Road King had muy top end noise. Only too find out it is normal. A recommendation. If you have a wind screen. Running 70 mph. Bend over the gas tank. Put your head behind the wind screen to block out wind and exhaust noise and listen to that engine music.
