I'm old school, and I've had both FI and carb. Always likes the sound of my carbed bikes...the real potato, and didn't mind the setbacks, like elevation, etc..I'll just stick with carbs and deal with them.
I already knew the answer when I asked and with that said. I see absolutely no advantage to FI and a monstrosity of computer garbage on a motorcycle.
The altitude B.S. I have never experienced. My spark plugs can be as clean as any FI, it's a matter of tuning. I have a so called gas sucker S&S E but I can get it to make 45 MPG. My pipes don't smoke so the emissions are not an issue.
The only advantage of FI is it will idle cold.
So someone tell me the guberment conspiracy of their stupid regulations.
