I'm old school, and I've had both FI and carb. Always likes the sound of my carbed bikes...the real potato, and didn't mind the setbacks, like elevation, etc..I'll just stick with carbs and deal with them.

Me to Gramps
With a old carb I don't have to trade in my flip phone for a "Smart " phone to tune a bike

Lol! I've got a screaming eagle flip phone...turn the volume up as I go deaf. Just need to upgrade to a magnifying cover.

It ain't gonna happen.

There was a time when I myself said "I won't have FI on my car or truck"

well That didn't happen and there is no way in H I'd put a carb on any of my trucks.

The EVO will stay as it is___ Just cause

I already knew the answer when I asked and with that said. I see absolutely no advantage to FI and a monstrosity of computer garbage on a motorcycle.
The altitude B.S. I have never experienced. My spark plugs can be as clean as any FI, it's a matter of tuning. I have a so called gas sucker S&S E but I can get it to make 45 MPG. My pipes don't smoke so the emissions are not an issue.
The only advantage of FI is it will idle cold.
So someone tell me the guberment conspiracy of their stupid regulations.

It's to keep up with the Jap bikes
H-D is making Electric ( battery ) bikes to keep up with the market
I'm with you as I have a '81 Sportster and a "80 Tour Glide -- I'll keep the carbs

If I had the choice between fuel injection and a carb, I will take fuel injection.
